Camilla Baines grew up in London where she studied Art History at London University. She has lived in Italy for 16 years and has worked as a guide since 1988, traveling with small specialized groups, and working now as a private licensed guide in Florence and the surrounding areas. She is one of the most successful certified guides of Florence and its province. She also loves working with families with children and has two boys of her own. An outing with Camilla provides the opportunity to see many unique things that you would not normally have a chance to see.
Born in England, Julian Brown made has made his home in Paris for almost 30 years. As an art historian and licensed guide, he specializes in tailor-made tours throughout Europe. Julian frequently lectures for museums, universities, Royal Societies and international conferences. He has a B.A. from the University of Durham in Modern Languages (French & Spanish), an M.A. from the University of London: School of African and Oriental Studies in Art & Archaeology, and a Ph.D from the University of London: SOAS on the Museological & Colonial Contexts of the Art of Ancient Champa. The Rev. Dr. Tory Baucum
The Reverend Dr. Tory Baucum is the Rector of Truro Church in Fairfax, Virginia, a post he has held since 2007. He holds degrees from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry and Asbury Theological Seminary. He also teaches at Virginia Theological Seminary. His areas of expertise include St Augustine, Wesley, homiletics, evangelism and contextual theology. He has ministered and taught in several Anglican provinces and theological colleges. Dr Baucum is Chairman of the Board of Fresh Expressions USA and a Board Member of Alpha-USA. He is married to Elizabeth and they have three teenage daughters. The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, appointed the Rev. Dr Tory Baucum, as one of the Six Preachers of Canterbury Cathedral in 2014.
The Rev. Reagan W. & Mrs. Stephanie Cocke
Stephanie and Reagan are eager to share their experience and love of Wycliffe and England’s historic architecture and landscapes with you. They have been traveling together for thirty years since studying architecture and architectural history at the University of Pennsylvania. They consider their two years living and studying in Oxford pure joy. Reagan, a former architect, and Stephanie, an architectural historian, transitioned into ministry and studied at Wycliffe Hall at Oxford from 1997-1999. The two live in Houston, Texas, where Reagan is Associate Rector at St. John the Divine and Stephanie is Coordinator for U.S. Friends of Wycliffe Hall.
Archbishop Robert & Nara Dewar Duncan
“Archbishop Bob” has devoted himself to mission and evangelism throughout his ministry, with a passion for reaching young adults. He served as Bishop of Pittsburgh and Archbishop for the Anglican Church in North America. He graduated with honors from Trinity College and General Theological Seminary. He served the Chapel of the Intercession in NY City; Christ Church in Scotland; and Grace Church in NJ. He has held many positions, including Episcopal chaplain of UNC at Chapel Hill, rector of Saint Thomas’s Parish in DE, President of the Anglican Relief and Development Fund, and Primate on the Primates Council of the GAFCON/FCA movement. Archbishop Duncan and Nara Dewar are a dynamic team. They share a love of gardening, travel, hospitality and music. Nara Dewar Duncan has been traveling with Connoisseurs since 1996 when she married off her only child and packed up her husband to tour the world. Since that time she (and he) have introduced many people to the joys of “slow, gracious, and informed” travel- a concept that she thinks Connoisseurs has an industry “lock-on.” While she often describes herself as a Jill-of-all-trades, she is a true Renaissance woman, with academic degrees in History and Music, a career as a Professor of Music and Voice behind her. She is also a trained floral designer, and an avid gardener.
Dr. William Edgar
Dr. William Edgar has degrees from Harvard University, Westminster Theological Seminary, and the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He has taught at the Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT, and at the Faculté Libre de Théologie Réformése in France, where he continues as Professeur Associé. He is currently Professor of Apologetics, Coordinator of the Apologetics Department, Director of the Gospel and Culture Project, and Moderator of the Faculty at Westminster Theological Seminary, where he has been since 1989. Dr. Edgar is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. He frequently participates in the China Christian Scholars Association, and often travels to China. Edgar’s books include The Face of Truth: Lifting the Veil; and Truth in All Its Glory: Commending the Reformed Faith. He has written numerous articles on such subjects as cultural apologetics, the music of Brahams, the French Huguenots, and African-American aesthetics. His favorite avocations are Brazilian soccer and jazz piano. He manages a professional jazz band, and has recently composed music based on the Psalms. He is married to Barbara Smyth Edar, who is Administrator of the Huguenot Fellowship and also teaches French at the Westminster Language Institute. They have two children and three grandchildren.
Dr. Leslie Fairfield
Professor Les Fairfield was educated at Princeton and Harvard, and for thirty years (1976-2006) was professor of Church History at Trinity. He is the author of John Bale: Mythmaker for the English Reformation. He taught courses at Trinity ranging from Patristics to Postmodernism. Les retired from full-time teaching in 2006. He continues to lead study tours and to teach part-time at Trinity.
Fr. David and Meghan Houk
Fr. David’s traveling adventures began in 1990 with a six-week study tour of Greece, Israel, and Italy while he was studying at Wheaton College, his alma mater. After completing his undergraduate degree, he lived in the Holy Land for a time, returned to Wheaton for graduate work in New Testament, and then took his M.Div from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. He presently serves as the rector of St. John’s Church in Dallas, Texas. His love for the Scriptures, knowledge of Church history, fondness for people and cultures, and bold attempts to speak Arabic make him a favorite among local guides in the Holy Land and the travelers he takes on pilgrimage. He is married to Meg, herself a gifted teacher, and together they have set their sights on Greece and Turkey for their next journey.

He has lectured and led tours to The Chelsea Flower Show (London), Philadelphia Flower Show, Lisbon, Spring Island, SC, Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, and Chappaquiddick Island, MA. He has designed gardens for clients all over the world.

Dr. Carol Klukas, Ph.D.
The Rev. Canon Arnold Klukas, Ph.D. has degrees in theology from Yale and Oxford and a doctorate in Art History from the University of Pittsburgh. He has taught Early Christian and Medieval Art at Oberlin and Smith colleges, Theology and the arts at Emory University, and Liturgics and Ascetical Theology at Nashotah House. He currently lectures and publishes widely in Christianity and the visual arts, liturgy and architecture, and in Christian spirituality. Dr. Arnold Klukas and Mrs. Carol Klukas have led study tours to The British Isles, Italy, Germany and now Greece and Turkey.
Dr. Carol Klukas has a Ph.D. in Bio-Physics from the Johns Hopkins University, and was for many years involved in research and monitoring of blood supplies in American hospitals. She is musician, mother of two sons, and was for many years the Associate Dean of Student Life/Registrar/Admissions Director at Nashotah House.
Dr. Peter A Lillback
Dr. Peter A. Lillback is President and Professor of Historical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He has authored books and numerous articles in the field of the Reformation and post-Reformation Era including The Binding of God, Calvin’s Role in the Development of Covenant Theology (2001) and served as editor of and contributor to The Practical Calvinist: An Introduction to the Presbyterian and Reformed Heritage (2002). Dr. Lillback’s most recent book is on the Christian faith of George Washington. George Washington’s Sacred Fire represents the culmination of over 20 years of original research and scholarship. Dr. Lillback also serves as President of The Providence Forum, a non-profit organization committed to preserving the promoting the spirit, faith, values and worldview of America’s Founding Fathers. Dr. Lillback holds degrees from Cedarville University (B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.), and Westminster Theological Seminary (Ph.D.). Dr. Lillback grew up in Ohio. He lives in Wayne, Pennsylvania with his wife Debbie.
Dr. Michael Lloyd
Rev. Dr. Michael Lloyd is the new Principal of the Wycliffe Hall. Dr. Lloyd was formerly Chaplain of Queen’s College, Oxford. He is the author of a popular-level systematic theology entitled Café Theology, and is one of the regular voices on Godpod, a theological podcast. Dr. Lloyd holds degrees in English from Cambridge University, Theology from St John’s College, Durham and a DPhil in Theology from Oxford University.
The Rev. Dr. & Mrs. Peter C. Moore
Peter C. Moore is Dean and President Emeritus of Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA and former Rector of Little Trinity Church in Toronto. He holds degrees from Yale and Oxford Universities and from three seminaries including a D. Min. from Fuller and an honorary D.D. He is the founder of FOCUS, a unique ministry among the leading independent secondary schools along the Eastern Seaboard. Currently he and his wife live in Charleston, SC where he serves on the staff of St. Michael’s Church. He has spoken widely, and is the author of three books and editor of several others. One of his favorite verses of Scripture is: “In Him the whole fullness of the godhead dwelt bodily, and you have come to fullness of life in Him.” (Col. 2:9,10)
When touring with Hani you will constantly keep running into other native guides who will tell your group, “You have the best guide in Israel!” We think this is true. For years, Hani taught at the College de Frères, a preparatory school in Jerusalem’s Old City. He is an educator at heart, and his ability to teach and inspire a love for learning comes through on his tours. He is an avid reader, fluent in several languages, and a Christian whose devotion to our Lord, Biblical knowledge, and love of the Holy Land make him, perhaps, the best guide in the Holy Land.
Mark Stevenson, Ph.D.
Mark is the Academic Dean, Assistant Professor of Homiletics, and Director of Extension Ministries at Trinity School for Ministry. He completed his undergraduate education at Bethany College in 1973, received his MA from West Virginia University in 1975, his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in 1983, and his MAR from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in 1998. His research interests include Shakespeare, Christianity and the arts, the integration of theatre, and the gospel as Story. His favorite speaking topic is Church history. His ethos is to challenge his students “to become partners in learning.” He enjoys a vibrant learning environment, where everyone learns, including himself. He also facilitates taking personal responsibility for being engaged and engaging, and the result is that he is a wonderful tour leader.
Carolynn B. Tiebout
Carolynn’s life in travel began in late 1970 when she began working for a motor coach company as an escort for their tour programs in the United States. Carolynn enjoyed traveling around the country and discovering the unique characteristics of local residents and their cities and towns. After 10 years she moved on to a larger company and traveled more extensively - always looking for the unique history to share with the guests that traveled with her. Every tour was an adventure! She accepted the opportunity to work for Historic Hudson Valley. She thoroughly enjoys the adventure of creating unique tour programs in the Hudson River Valley. She looks forward to every opportunity to share the history, culinary and fine arts that are so unique to this beautiful and historic place.
The Rev. Dr. Peter Walker
Dr. Peter Walker was educated at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford and is currently Professor of Biblical Studies at Trinity, the evangelical Anglican seminary near Pittsburgh. Peter Walker has led numerous tours in the Middle East (Israel, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Jordan & Syria) and has also completed the filming for a forthcoming series of DVDs (based on In the Steps of Saint Paul) which will trace all of Paul’s travels—including locations such as Damascus, Lebanon, Cyprus, Crete, Malta and Sicily. Dr. Walker’s other interests include: Jerusalem in Christian thought and practice, Biblical Theology and its application to issues in the Middle East today, archaeology in the Holy Land, the ministry of Jesus within the story-line of Israel, the Book of Acts in its historical setting, and the early church (from AD 100-400). Dr. Walker’s five most recent books include: The Lion Guide to the Bible, The Jesus Way: The Essential Christian Starter-Kit, In the Steps of Saint Paul; In the Steps of Jesus, and The Story of the Holy Land: a visual history.
Kathryn Waller II
Kathryn Waller II has been organizing and leading tours all over the world for over 35 years. Kathryn has her finger on the pulse of the most exciting and interesting places to visit in the world. She attended UNC Charlotte and started working with her father as a part of Connoisseurs Tours at age 19. Now as the President of Connoisseurs Tours, her goal is to design itineraries that will captivate Connoisseurs Tours travelers. When Kathryn is leading a tour, you know it’s going to be one of the best! Kathryn currently resides in Savannah, Georgia.
Harcourt Waller, III
Harcourt Waller, III has been a part of Connoisseurs Tours for 25 years and has led numerous tours to places including Italy, Hawaii, Canada, New England and Israel. Harcourt attended St. Andrews University (BA) in NC, The Royal Academy of Music in London for post-graduate studies, and Peabody Conservatory of Music (MA). In addition to working with Connoisseurs Tours he is a church pianist and organist and enjoys “gigging” around town whenever there is a need for an excellent piano player. He grew up in Charlottesville, and has lived in Charlotte and currently resides in Savannah, GA (since 1986) with his two dogs.
The Rev. Ted & Mrs. Ann Welty
The Weltys have lived in London for three years. Ted was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force and was assigned as an Air Attaché to the U. S. Embassy in Grosvenor Square. Ann was active in the diplomatic wives’ activities and hosted many social and diplomatic events. Ted is an alumnus of the University of St. Andrews in Scotland where he earned a Master of Letters Degree in divinity. Ann and Ted are members of the Royal Air Force Club as they continue to maintain ties with the U.K. Ted is also an Upper Freeman in the London Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators. Presently, Ted is rector of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Palestine, Texas.
The Rev. Alfred "Al" T.K. Zadig, Jr. & Elizabeth Zadig
The Rev. Alfred “Al” T. K. Zadig, Jr. has been Rector of St. Michael’s Church since September 2007. Previously Al served as Rector of All Saints Church in MD. Al is passionate about Gospel transformation in the lives of the men, women and children that make up churches, and transforming and impacting communities, both nationally and internationally. Before seminary, he interned at the BBC, and then worked for a CBS affiliate as a sports reporter/anchor, and then at an NBC affiliate producing the 6:00 news. He holds degrees from UMass Amherst, and the Seminary at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. Al’s wife Elizabeth (Libby) is a SC native, and is a specialist in the field of Hearing – Impaired Education. Al and Libby have three children, Wimberly, Christian, and Hudson. Al is an avid runner, traveler, and skier!
